At 10:00 AM the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Sweden in Russia Mr. Sven Hirdman officially opened Days of Sweden in Nizhny Novgorod by his complimentary speech.

The return speech was delivered by Mr. Yuri L. Mouraviov, the Minister of Economy of the Nizhny Novgorod oblast Government.

In his speech Mr. Jan-Olof Nystrom, Commercial Counselor of the Swedish Embassy, emphasized the importance of Days of Sweden for development of business partnership.

The Ambassador of Sweden in Russia Mr. Sven Hirdman awarded Vasily Ragozin from 'vr-graphics' design studio, the winner of the logo contest organized by the Swedish Center in Nizhny Novgorod.

Andrey Kazakov received a special diploma and the 1st place award in "Sweden-Russia: history of neighborhood" contest from Mr. Hirdman.
